Pokémon Go frequently hosts limited-time events, typically only lasting a day or even one hour. That’s why it’s crucial to keep track of the game’s event schedules, or else you may lose out on an exclusive new team member. To stay updated, here’s the current Pokémon Go Community Day schedule for June 2024.
When is the next Community Day in Pokémon Go?
The next Community Day for Pokémon Go launches on July 21 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. local time. The Electric-type, Tynamo, will be the star of the show, including a rare Shiny variant. Make sure to tune into the event during its active times to encounter more Tynamos in the wild.
Those who evolve Tynamo during the event or five hours after its conclusion can earn an Eelektross with a Fast Attack Volt Switch. Tynamo’s second evolution, Eelektrik, will also be involved with 4 Star raid battles on July 21 from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. local time. Once trainers complete this raid, more Tynamos will spawn for 30 minutes. This is the perfect time to catch those exclusive Shiny variants.
Like many Pokémon Go Community Days, Tynamo’s event offers various event buffs. For a complete list of bonuses, here’s what you can expect:
- 1/4 Hatch Distance for Egg Incubators
- Double Catch Candy
- Double Candy XL chances
- Three-hour durations for Lure Modules
- Snapshot surprises
- +1 Special Trade
- Three-hour durations for Incense (not including Daily Adventure Incense)
- 50 percent off Stardust cost in trades
- Four Unova Stones (Timed Research rewards)
The +1 Special Trade and Stardust discount will only be available from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. on the day of the event. Additionally, if you are at Trainer Level 31, you can get double Candy XL when catching a Pokémon.
Various Field Research rewards can be earned during this time, including Stardust, Great Balls, and more Tynamo encounters. Trainers should also ensure to collect the Timed Research Unova Stones between 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. If you are interested in premium services, a Special Research story ticket can be purchased for $4.99.
As for the rest of the schedule, Niantic has confirmed another Community Day. Specifically, you can look forward to one for August 31. The Pokémon for this event hasn’t been mentioned yet, so we’ll be sure to update this guide once we have more information.
