Pokémon Day 2024 has unveiled an all-new event for Pokémon Go lovers in collaboration with the Netflix series. Here’s the upcoming Horizons: The Series event release date, including its expected features.
When Is the Pokémon Go x Horizons: The Series Event Release Date
The Pokémon Go x Horizons: The Series event launches on March 5 at 10 AM local time. The collaboration will last until March 11, ending at 8 PM. This will be around the same time as the Horizons: The Series debut, where viewers can take off on an adventure with Liko and Roy. Scarlet and Violet‘s iconic Pokémon will also be a part of the cast, from Fuecoco to Sprigatito.
All Expected Features in Pokémon Go x Horizons: The Series Event
Those who have immersed themselves in the Paldea region can look forward to the debut of some rather familiar Pokémon. This includes the debut of:
- Charcadet
- Armarouge
- Ceruledge
Compared to other Pokémon, these three were reasonably popular amongst the community, so they’ll certainly be a huge contribution to your new Pokemon Go team. Aside from this ensemble, it comes as no surprise to see another variation of the series’ most popular companion, Pikachu. The new costume showcases the adorableness of Pikachu wearing Cap’s hat.
But even with all of Pikachu’s cuteness, the critter packs a punch with its lightning-fast Volt Tackle. A Shiny version may appear on your radar, but it does require a bit of luck. One-Star Raids are your best bet, featuring the following Pokémon:
- Pikachu wearing Cap’s hat
- Rhyhorn
- Rockruff
Three-Star Raids are included as well for more extra challenges:
- Chansey
- Noctowl
- Metagross
If you’re an expert on Pokémon Go‘s eggs, Charcadet can be hatched with the new event. Then, once the celebration ends, it will be brought to life with a 10 km egg. Multiple event bonuses, such as an increase in Team Go Rocket balloons and double XP for egg hatching, are also available.
More Pokémon will be scattered around the wilds, with the following creatures:
- Sprigatito
- Fuecoco
- Quaxly
- Pawmi
- Nosepass
- Scyther
- Alolan Grimer
- Beldum
Many critters mentioned above could be captured through Field Research tasks, too. There’s much more to anticipate with the launch of the event and Pokémon Day, especially with the upcoming release of Pokémon Legends ZA.
