Everybody should know about last year’s critically acclaimed Portal by now, and if you don’t, then just get the HELL out of our Internet and let the real people interact with each other, okay? Now that we’ve separated the human beings from the wretched failures, it’s time for us to talk. Gather close, sit ye down and listen to the word of righteousness.
Portal 2 has been confirmed by Valve.
Now, as the collective semen of a thousand excited gamers launches through the air like a liquid volley of silken arrows, I must remind you that any idiot could have seen this coming a mile away — Valve already talked of more Portal, and the first one was too successful to not be continued. This is the first solid confirmation of an official Portal 2, however, as specified by lead designer Kimberly Swift.
The world now holds its breath for further details, but knowing Valve, most of us will be dead of oxygen deprivation to the brain before we hear more. Until then, rejoice! The twisted world of Aperture Science looks set to suck us in once again, and we couldn’t be happier.
