Why? Just ’cause! Also, money
Hitman: Agent 47 managed to review substantially worse than Pixels and the last, retconned Hitman movie. It also made over $63 million (and cost just $35 million to make) because the world is a cruel joke played on us all save for those lucky enough not to get it.
Anyways! Adrian Askarieh, who produced both Hitman films and is working on Johnny Quest and Kane & Lynch films, told IGN that he is also producing a Just Cause that will lean on the more story-focused, upcoming third entry in the series.
“Just Cause 3 has a terrific story. It has Rico going back to Medici, the place of his birth and then subsequent displacement, and the murder of his family. And he goes back there to do what he does best which is to discombobulate regimes,” Askarieh said.
“That to me is a cool story and the whole concept of a guy who is sent in to discombobulate from within and to create chaos from within. And in terms of action, I think Just Cause has just as much right to be called an action movie as The Fast and Furious.”
Credit for the discombobulate double down, though. Good word.
