There are a few things to mention about this week’s PlayStation Plus update, but most notably, Lab Zero’s 2D fighting game Skullgirls Encore will be free for subscribers tomorrow. Big Band was recently added to the roster, so consider this a good opportunity to check in with the game whether it be for the first time or the fiftieth.
Sales are also scheduled for the PlayStation Store update tomorrow. Hitman: Absolution Special Edition ($8.99), Hitman Trilogy HD ($14.39), Tomb Raider PS3 ($13.49), and Serious Sam 3: BFE ($14.99) are on offer. A bunch of discounts for free-to-play games — Blacklight Retribution, Dust 514, Warframe, etc. — are happening too, and good lord some of these prices.
Like, I don’t know who’s buying “3210 Platinum + Mods” for Warframe now that it’s $101.24, down from the normal going rate of $149.99, but I want to know them. They sound fascinating.
