The upcoming “Desert Map” for PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds will be getting an official reveal next week at The Game Awards. Geoff Keighley took to Twitter to announce the…um…announcement of this reveal. In addition to getting gameplay on the map, we’ll probably also get confirmation of the release date for the PC version (which is set to leave Early Access with this new level).

I know a lot of people are upset with the current state of the game, but I’m still pretty enamored with PUBG. The fact that an entire second map is coming to the game gets me really excited since the tactical possibilities and strategies will expand two fold. For a game that has sucked up a lot of my time without really trying, I’m sure this extra map is going to occupy me even more.
