If you bought FFA on PS3, you get a free game
Remember when Ratchet & Clank: Full Frontal Assault for the PlayStation Vita was delayed? Yeah, that probably irked a bunch of you out there who bought the game solely for Sony’s cross-buy promotion, only to deny you the glory of the Vita copy until it actually came out. Evidently, the game has been further delayed into spring 2013.
Due to this odd situation, people realized that Sony’s cross-buy promotion is a pretty weird system. When you buy a PS3 copy, you aren’t getting a code for the Vita version on a card inside of the case — instead, you register your disc through your PlayStation Network account. Of course, this can’t actually work if the Vita version isn’t even out yet.
As an apology for people who are sitting on their cross-buy disc, Sony has a concession for you. They’ve announced that Ratchet: Deadlocked HD will be available for free when Full Frontal Assault launches — the proviso of course being that you bought FFA digitally or physically on the PS3.
