Well, that sucks
Sadly, it looks as if the development of the PlayStation 4 and Vita ports of Read Only Memories isn’t going so well. The game’s official Twitter account has stated that development of the ports for Sony’s two current-gen gaming platforms has been delayed indefinitely, due to issues working with the PlayStation Vita’s hardware.
We have made the unfortunate decision to indefinitely delay 2064 due to unforeseen circumstances that arose at the end of porting. :/

According to the developers, the biggest challenge is that Sony’s oft-neglected handheld simply doesn’t have much in the way of memory, and that it may take a few weeks to further optimise the game in order to accommodate.
Thankfully, it looks as if MidBoss – the development studio behind the game – are insistent that the ports, which were first announced last November, have not been outright cancelled. They also pointed out that the only reason why they’re not giving a concrete release date is because they don’t want to have to announce any more delays, should another issue occur during development.
The game is 99.9% done on PS4 and will be coming out sooner than later, but we don’t wanna delay again, hence no date 🙂
