If you’re one of the many multiplayer FPS fans that are excited about the upcoming Red Orchestra 2, then get your wallets primed. As of today you can pre-purchase the sequel to Tripwire Interactive’s WW2 shooter.
There’s two packages you can buy, both at 10% right now. The basic game itself costs $35.99 and comes with two different rifle bayonets and a pair of WW2 badges. There’s also a Digital Deluxe option, costing $44.99 that comes bundled with the aforementioned goodies, plus a set of assault and sniper rifles for both the German and Russian sides. There’s also the obligatory Team Fortress 2 hats but also some character skins for Tripwire’s other big title, Killing Floor. Purchasing the Digital Deluxe edition will also get you access into the final stages of a closed beta which is running up until Red Orchestra 2‘s release later in August.
Considering the small difference in price, I know which bundle I’d go for. And if you’re maybe in a spendy kinda mood, Valve has permanently dropped the price of Portal 2, down to $29.99. I did purchase Portal 2 in the recent Summer Camp sale and the price I paid wasn’t too far off from that. Great price for what is considered one of the best games of the year so far.
