When I think of commemorative coins, I think of overpriced patriotic junk peddled during TV commercial breaks. Supplies are extremely limited. Call now! This is way better.
It’s a silver-plated Club Nintendo Goodbye Coin that is up for grabs in Europe if you have 2,000 stars. We use (well, used) coins for Club Nintendo here in the States, not stars, and mine are long gone anyway. The memento says “thank you” in Japanese, because of course it does.
Not a bad tribute. I’m anxious for Nintendo to roll out its new loyalty program.
