Remnant 2 has been a success since its launch, but it can be a tricky game in terms of its combat and systems. How Remnant 2 trait point caps work

When you create your character, you start with four basic traits. You have Endurance which is your stamina, Vigor which is your health, Spirit which is your mod power generation rate, and Expertise which is your skill cooldown rate. Depending on which archetype you equip, you’ll also get an additional trait. Your traits can then be further expanded by completing various achievements such as defeating bosses and completing quests.

You have a total of 85 trait points. Of these, 25 are automatically added to your base traits and acquired archetypes, leaving you with 60 trait points to play around with. All traits are capped at 10 points, which means you won’t have enough investible points to max out all your traits.

You’ll have to strategize with how you spend your trait points, though you’re fortunately not stuck with your first build. It is possible to alter how your traits are spread. However, you require an Orb of Undoing which you can acquire for 3 Lumenite Crystals and 2500 scrap from Wallace in Ward 13.

Once you understand how trait points work, you’ll also have to wrap your head around the secret archetypes, as well as the various weapons including the useful Cube Gun.
