Resistance 2 promises 420 hours of gameplay

FPS’ these days aren’t exactly known for massive, expansive gameplay. While there is plenty of longevity to be found in multiplayer, you will have seen everything that most shooters have to offer within eight hours. Not so with Resistance 2, if Insomniac is to be believed. The developer is boldly claiming that you’ll need to put around 420 hours into this game to unlock everything.

If you’re mad enough to want to unlock every level, find all the briefings and max out each class, then you will need to book some time off work, because Resistance 2 has a lot to be getting on with. Then there’s the sixty-player online stuff and a more sensible eight-nine-hour campaign. With so much to be doing, PS3 owners aren’t going to be getting a lot of sleep.
