Sorry for the late post today. Dyson and I were busy reading to blind children in an orphanage, while Topher and Colette were saving some diabetic puppies from a giant kennel fire. Rev Anthony? Well, he was just pushing down old ladies, but I was told not to speak of that.
Since the holiday season is all about being thankful for the things you have, tonight’s RetroforceGO! is all about things in the videogame world that we are extra thankful for. Bring on the glorious Retrofeast!
I remember last week’s Thanksgiving when my family went around the dinner table, each person telling everyone what he/she was thankful for: My mother was thankful for the food on the table and my father was thankful for the health and happiness of his family and friends. Me, on the other hand? I told everyone that I was thankful for Mode 7. The silence was deafening. “Come on! F-Zero people!” I screamed. Again, not a word. Before storming away from the table, I think I threw mashed potatoes in my grandfather’s face or something. I don’t really remember the details.
Even though we only have a limited time before recording, let us know what you are thankful for. Was the invention of the analog stick something you will never forget? How about internal battery saves? The rumble pack? Handhelds? Let us know (along with any questions) in the comments and check back tomorrow to listen to the show.
