As our own Mr. Destructoid has said countless times before, “BEST. SYSTEM. EVAR!!” Tonight we take a look back at one of the most solid gaming platforms ever known to mankind. Sure, it had a few stinkers in its library, but for the most part it was an outstanding console, and remains so to this day.
The games were classic, the region locking was a cinch to get around, and the Japanese Super Famicom controller is still the only one in existence that I’ve got nothing bad to say about. Best system ever? Regardless of whether that question can ever be answered, many gamers (including some members of the RFGO! cast,) still hail it as their all-time favorite.
