Remember that Robocalypse Wii “sequel” rumor we wrote about not too long ago? Well, it was mostly right.
Vogster has announced today that it will be bringing Robocalypse: Beaver Defense to WiiWare this summer. Based the the universe of last year’s Nintendo DS game, Robocalypse: Beaver Defense features “tower defense” style gameplay, as opposed to the real-time-strategy of the handheld. The game will a single-player mode, as well as up to four-players in multiplayer modes.
OK, so “Beaver Defense” sounds a bit… suggestive. What’s up with the name? The premise revolves around thwarting the diabolical plans of a mad beaver. Get your mind out of the gutter, it’s getting in my way.
As a big fan of the under-appreciated Robocalypse on the DS, I’m looking forward to this one. What do you guys think?
