Next week’s Rock Band DLC is not only set to rock your face off, but arm you with a bit of music trivia.
You’re probably already familiar with Frankie Goes To Hollywood’s 80s hit, “Relax.” But did you know that the version included on the band’s debut, Welcome to the Pleasuredome, was entitled “Relax (Come Fighting),” and is a different mix than one of the 301 remixes you may have also heard. Fans of reverberated kick drum and useless bar trivia, take note here.
“Relax (Come Fighting)” is only one of the tracks being offered up next week on the Rock Band music store, along with a tune from Erasure (“A Little Respect”), and some P.O.D. tracks that kind of make me want to take the day off to play some Amplitude or go to church.
- Erasure – “A Little Respect”
- Frankie Goes to Hollywood – “Relax (Come Fighting)”
- P.O.D. – “Boom” X
- P.O.D. – “Youth of the Nation”
Tracks can be hit with your musical laser beams for $1.99/160 MS Points/200 Wii Points a piece; you can upgrade “Boom” for Pro Guitar/Bass for an additional buck.
