Rock Band DLC for January accidentally revealed, includes Oasis, Rush, and more

Thanks to a lovely SNAFU over at Xbox.com, the Rock Band downloadable content for the remainder of the month has been revealed. While the listings for the next two weeks have since disappeared, you can expect the following:

Week of January 22, 2008
Oasis Pack includes songs by Oasis including “Don’t Look Back in Anger,” “Live Forever,” and “Wonderwall”

Week of January 29, 2008
“Progressive Tracks” include “Siva” by Smashing Pumpkins, “Working Man” as made famous by Rush *, and “Ten Speed (Of God’s Blood and Burial)” as made famous by Coheed and Cambria *

Now before the “Where are the promised full albums?” whining starts, I’ll have you guys know that I went to bat for you, and tried to find out the answer to that very question. I was told by Harmonix reps that “it’s in the pipeline” and that “no firm release dates have been announced.” Yeah, I’m useless, I know. But I certainly tried, and that has to count for something, right?

In the meantime, Harmonix and MTV Games have let us know that they’re teaming with Ray-Ban to bring Rock Band to the Sundance Film Festival. From January 17 through January 26 (from 11 am – 5pm and 7pm to 2am), Park City Utah’s Harry-O’s Monkey Bar will be transformed into the “Ray-Ban Rock Band Bar.” Try saying that backwards five times fast.
