Rock Band to tag along with Motley Crue on this summer’s ‘Crue Fest’ tour

Following the last-minute addition of Mötley Crüe’s new single “Saints of Los Angeles” to today’s Rock Band downloadable content, MTV Games and Harmonix have announced that they will be along for the ride this summer when Mötley Crüe embarks on their 40-city tour, hereby known as “Crüe Fest.”

Along with Buckcherry, Papa Roach, Sixx: A.M. and Trapt, The Crüe will be invading city after city as they attempt to not only rock your faces off, but also sleep with your sisters, wives, girlfriends, and mothers. (I read The Dirt, so I know what’s up.) On each stop there will be a “Rock Band Second Stage,” where dudes wearing denim jackets and chicks with teased hair can unleash their inner rock stars by trying out the game in front of drunk, rowdy people.

The tour begins on April 15, so maybe it’s time for you to brush up on your Vince Neil impersonating skills. And maybe it’s time for “Dr. Feelgood,” “Shout at the Devil,” and “Too Young to Fall in Love” to be released as downloadable content. Thanks.
