[Update: It sounds like the game is also in development for Xbox One.]

Romance of the Three Kingdoms XIII has not been announced for a western release, but it sounds like you should be able to play the upcoming strategy game even if one never happens.

Today at Tokyo Game Show, Koei Tecmo revealed the title would be localized into English, Korean, and Chinese (traditional and simplified) for the PlayStation 4-exclusive Asian-region version.

The publisher currently hasn’t announced whether a wider release is in the cards, but it did just bring the similar (and excellent) Nobunaga’s Ambition: Sphere of Influence to the west this month.

Romance of the Three Kingdoms is a series of strategy games based on Luo Guanzhong’s chronicle of the fall China’s Han dynasty and the Three Kingdoms period, which also inspired Omega Force’s popular Dynasty Warriors franchise. It’s currently celebrating its 30th anniversary.

Koei Tecmo plans to release Romance of the Three Kingdoms XIII on December 10 in Japan for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and PC. The Asian version will launch the same day on PS4.
