Plenty of the King of Fighters XIV fans (myself included) were chomping at the bit for a possible Yamazaki roster addition as soon as DLC characters were announced, and with Whip confirmed as the first character, luckily Yamazaki was announced soon after.
It might just be my overall Yama-bias, but he’s looking like a really good addition. His Drill super has a great angle, his animations are crisp (especially his snake arm), and his new model has a lot of personality. His Climax Cancel? Grabbing pieces of the background and nailing his opponents over the head with them. The tuna’s a personal favorite.
Yamazaki’s release date has yet to be confirmed.
