Ghost of Tsushima, Death Stranding, and more
Sony says that Sackboy has more than 60 costumes to discover, providing all sorts of options for customization and snazzy dress. But, you’ll need to shell out an extra $20 to outfit Sackboy in some of Sony’s more iconic looks.
Sackboy: A Big Adventure‘s digital deluxe edition comes with a handful of pack-in goodies but none are more alluring than costumes for some recent high-profile PS4 exclusives. Buying the $80 extra-good edition comes with skins for Ghost of Tsushima‘s Jin, Death Stranding‘s Sam Porter Bridges, Detroit: Become Human‘s Connor, and Days Gone‘s Deacon St. John.
That’s right — if you think Sackboy should have awful facial hair, you can Hideo Kojima-fye him.
That’s just part of the digital deluxe edition package. Here’s everything the $80 version comes with:
- Digital art book
- Digital soundtrack
- 4 Sackboy costumes listed above
- 4 Sackboy emotes based on each PlayStation icon mentioned above
- 20 Sackboy avatars wearing different costumes
There’s a physical option too, but only if you’re not moving along to next-gen. A special edition is only available on PS4, and it comes with all the stuff listed above and this plushie:
The Sackboy PS4 special edition runs $90 and can be pre-ordered now. It’s worth noting that Sackboy has a free upgrade from PS4 to PS5, so picking up the special edition doesn’t lock you out of a PS5 version of the game. In fact, if you’re interested in the digital deluxe edition, it’s probably worth the extra $10 to get a plushie out of it.
