Someone’s going to make this about GTA V, aren’t they?
In its first week of being available at retail, Saints Row IV has sold more than one million copies. Sold, not shipped. According to publisher Deep Silver, the PC version of the game tripled the first-week sales of its predecessor Saints Row: The Third.
I’m not terribly far into IV yet — far enough to have collected hundreds upon hundreds of those damn orbs and access to most of the powers — but I’m loving it. This is exactly what I want out of my open-world games, and the success is deserved. That said, I’m both curious and anxious to see how Volition will ultimately follow up with the next game.
Where do you go from here?
