May’s free titles for Xbox Live Gold members are some of the best featured in Microsoft’s Games with Gold promo so far, I’d say. We’re getting the action-adventure RPG Dust: An Elysian Tail from May 1 – 15 and the ridiculous Saints Row: The Third from May 16 – 30.
Yes, these aren’t newer releases. Yes, that’s still somewhat disappointing. Maybe Games with Gold will become more competitive once the program extends to Xbox One where there isn’t a years-old catalog to so easily fall back on. I’m probably being overly optimistic.
