Over the years, Coffee Stain Studios has been continuously updating Satisfactory. We’ve seen various updates to the factory-building world, including the new Spire Coast, visual improvements, and blueprint customization. It all leads to the game’s official debut, which may arrive sooner than you think. Here’s the release window for Satisfactory 1.0 and what new content to expect.
When does Satisfactory 1.0 come out?
According to the Satisfactory Roadmap, 1.0 will be released sometime in 2024. This gives us a rough timeframe, either in the Summer or late 2024. Coffee Stain Studios also indicates that there will be no further major updates during its Early Access period.
Update 8, the final patch of Satisfactory Early Access, is all about enhancing your gaming experience. It brings significant accessibility improvements to Blueprints, making it a breeze to dismantle and place them. While there won’t be any new patches, rest assured that any issues you encounter will be addressed in Version 1.0.
All new content in Satisfactory 1.0
While details about Satisfactory 1.0 are still under wraps, we do have some details on upcoming features. New narratives will immerse you deeper into the alien world, potentially unlocking more milestones. Satisfactory 1.0 also allows players to get the whole experience by completing the game, a feat yet to be fully explored in Early Access.
Coffee Stain Studios’ Optimization video gave us more insight into Satisfactory’s performance. 1.0 aims to make loading times and joining games much faster. Additionally, dedicated servers will run better during its full launch, thanks to the optimization improvements across the board.
The studio also discussed what Satisfactory 1.0 won’t have, including the giant crab shown in a previous trailer. The boss will not be a part of the full release since Coffee Stain Studios is still working on the game’s combat side.
Although mods are available for Early Access, 1.0 will not have mod support. You can still use mods from the community, but official support will arrive later. Other than these elements, there will be no improvements/additions to circular foundations, roads, and logic systems. The studio will continue to tweak or look into this content after the release of 1.0.
It’s important to note that Satisfactory 1.0 will remove beacons, flowers, and color cartridges. This change is not a step back but a strategic move to ensure a smoother gameplay experience.
