It’s an absolutely horrific thing to watch. A young man with a broken jaw, being robbed by a bunch of hooded chavs who surrounded him like sharks. The violence that’s rocked my home country this past week has made me feel pretty miserable and more than a little ashamed.
Sony Computer Entertain Europe, however, has demonstrated some serious class, responding to the above footage by offering to replace the PSP that was stolen. A site was set up to “do something nice” for the victim in the video, twenty-year-old Haziq. SCEE’s Alistair Duncan posted on the site, promising to send out the PSP if they can get shipping details.
It’s a heartwarming little story amidst a deluge of really horrible ones. Very nicely done, Sony.
