This morning’s Nintendo Direct was very good to us, RPG fans. We got Bravely Default, and now we have a release date for Atlus’ upcoming title, Shin Megami Tensei IV. We knew it was coming this summer, but now we have a solid date: July 16.
And more good news, collectors: A limited-edition copy of the game will come with a Shin Megami Tensei Music Collection CD that features selections from the 20-plus year history of the series, a 176-page strategy and design book, and a designer outer slip case with art by character designer Masayuki Doi. Very nice.
