Warframe just dropped a new update, and with it, a ton of new items to farm away for and story beats to follow before the MMO’s big event later this summer. The Jade Shadows questline is the latest added in Warframe, and if you’re floundering with the new choices presented along the journey, we’ve got explainers to help.
Stop here now for everything beyond will be spoilers related to the new quest involving the Stalker and Jade.
Should you name the baby Sirius or Orion in Warframe?
After being spared by the overwhelming barrage of shots, the Stalker escapes, with his child in his arms. Not yet named, you, the player, are now tasked with naming the child. So, do you name them Sirius or Orion?
Picking Sirius would mean that the baby will take more after its mother. Since she has passed, it would be a nod to her legacy. You’ll notice if you hover over the name and see the green, obviously referring to the energy colors of Jade.
Picking Orion would imply that the baby will take more after the Stalker (now known as Sorren). The vibes are more dark, with a darker shade of red showing what is associated with the name.
Is there a difference between Sirius and Orion?
There won’t be any major differences if you choose Sirius or Orion as the name for the child in Warframe. All choices made like this in the game only make the experience spiritually different, but the outcome will always be the same.
This is similar to the whole Sun and Moon system when making pivotal choices in the mainline quests. Usually, the Sun option means to take the more noble and morally correct paths. Moon leans more towards a darker, brutal path. There are occasionally neutral paths, so you have a balance between the two.
In the case of Sirius and Orion, it’s one side or the other. Where this will lead to in the future is still to be known. What kind of role this will play if The Stalker’s storyline continues will be interesting, knowing now that he has had a huge development of character in Jade Shadows.
