It’s time to hang up the sails of your starter ship and move on to something new. You have a couple of options after the Rammer Bedar, and one of them is a true team player. Here’s the location of the Sentinel Cutter ship blueprint in Skull and Bones.
You can find the Sentinel Cutter ship blueprint for sale at the outpost of Lanitra in Skull and Bones. Typically, this Sea People trading post isn’t a place you’ll stumble on right away. It’s more than 3,000m from the arguable comforts of Sainte-Anne, with plenty of Fara warships and sharks along the way. But if you play the game with friends, it’s worth the trip.
Where to get the Sentinel Cutter ship blueprint in Skull and Bones
The blueprint is sold by the ‘Sea People Huntsmaster’ on the beach of Lanitra. He’s off to the right after you land. The blueprint costs a mere 1,980 Silver, which should be easily affordable to most.
Take the blueprint back to a Shipwright to get the ship build underway. It costs six Bronze Ingot, six Iroko Planks, twelve Fine Jute, and 1,080 Silver to craft.
Sentinel Cutter type and perks
As mentioned, the Sentinel Cutter is perfect for freshly minted pirates looking to enjoy Skull and Bones with allies. The Cutter is a Support-type ship, which means it can help other ships during combat. Its Perk is ‘Unburden’, and the details of that are below:
- Restores Sever Damage by 0.5% and Hull Health by 0.5% per second
- Restores Hull Health of all friendly ships in a 100m radius of a repaired target by 2%
- Restores 60% more of Hull Health on a friendly ship while using a Repair Weapon
The best build for the ship is one with armor that dulls explosions alongside Repair Weapons to heal allies. There are some caveats, however. Compared to the Defender Hulk, the Sentinel has less Hull Health and Cargo space. If you’re playing solo, you may want to go with a different ship.
Here are the Sentinel Cutter’s stats:
Base Ship Rank | 2 |
Hull Health | 21,000 |
Brace Strength | 4,200 |
Speed | 9 kn |
Trimming Speed | 13 kn |
Cargo | 26,000 |
Stamina | 100 |
I may be a bit biased, but I have a soft spot for the Sentinel Cutter. It was my first ship of choice after the Bedar, and it carried my scurvy-ridden ass from the Red Isle to Africa and back again. I called her Gary’s Revenge, named for my pet chicken in Minecraft that my brother callously killed for meat. I still haven’t forgiven him. I may never will.
