Skull and Bones: Stuck at 10654 Infamy Rank, Explained

You’re not the only one

Skull and Bones 10654 Infamy

You may come to a point in Skull and Bones when you turn in a quest you expected to get some Infamy for but instead get none. If you look at your Infamy Rank, you’ll see that you are sitting at 10654 Infamy and the Rank of Brigand, but you cannot go any further. Don’t worry, here’s what’s going on if you find yourself stuck at 10654 Infamy.

Stuck at 10654 Infamy

If you find yourself stuck at 10654 Infamy in Skull and Bones, don’t worry: you’re not alone. 10654 Infamy is the current cap for the Skull and Bones Beta that takes place from February 8 through February 11. It’s not just you that can’t progress past this point. No one can. It’s the roughly halfway rank for Infamy Ranks, with the full game going up to Infamy Rank 10 which is Kingpin.

You will no longer gain Infamy during the beta, so it’s not possible to get past the cap of 10654 Infamy.

What should you do once you reach the Skull and Bones Beta Cap

Even though you can just keep on doing missions, I would not recommend doing so. Progress from the Open Beta carries over to the Skull and Bones full release on February 16 or February 13 depending on which Edition you purchase. What this means is while you can keep doing missions, you’ll get no Infamy experience for them. So, once the game releases, you will still only be at Infamy Rank Brigand but will have gotten no Infamy for all the missions you completed.

While you can still of course do Side Missions to gain Infamy, the best Infamy gains come from doing the Main MMissions. So if you plan to continue playing Skull of Bones into release, I’d recommend holding off on the Main Missions until then, that way you are getting Infamy Experience for them.

There’s nothing further you can do about getting stuck at 10654 Infamy Rank in Skull and Bones. Even though it’s a counter on your Infamy gain, you can still keep playing if you want to.
