Skyrim’s 4-disc soundtrack available for pre-order

Have you upgraded your computers yet?  I admit that I haven’t, and I’m unfortunately a snobby Elder Scrolls purist who insists on playing these titles on the PC.  In any case, I’m greatly looking forward to the game and its soundtrack from composer Jeremy Soule who has been on board with the series since Morrowind.  While I enjoyed what I heard at E3 this year, I wasn’t sure what to expect in terms of volume of music, and it turns out that Jeremy Soule has been a very busy man!

On or shortly after the week of 11/11/11, DirectSong will be releasing a whopping 4-disc soundtrack set of music from the game, and even this probably isn’t an exhaustive compilation of all the music that was written for the massive game.  The physical set will be available for $29.99, and as a special bonus, those pre-ordering before December 23, 2011 will get their copy autographed by Jeremy Soule.

Will you be picking up the game and soundtrack in just a couple short weeks?  Are you surprised to see this separate physical release outside of a collector’s edition, and will you be going for an autographed copy?
