Your PC doesn’t need to be the “fastest thing alive” to meet the Sonic Superstars system requirements. However, if you’re a few years out of date, you may need to update your system’s hardware. With a chilli dog in hand and a bunch of new hardware, however, you should be able to get ready for Sonic Superstars this October.
Here are the Sonic Superstars system requirements, both minimum and recommended.
Sonic Superstars system requirements – minimum specs
Here are the Sonic Superstars minimum system requirements, according to the game’s Steam page:
- OS: Windows 10
- Processor: Intel Core i5-2400, 3.1 GHz or AMD FX-8350, 4.2 GHz
- Memory: 6 GB RAM
- Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 750, 2 GB or AMD Radeon HD 7790, 2 GB
- DirectX: Version 11
6GB of RAM should be fairly accessible in this day and age. As of writing, the AMD Radeon HD 7790 is fairly inexpensive as well.
How to run Sonic Superstars at recommended settings
If you want to play Sonic Superstars the way it’s intended at recommended settings, here’s what you’ll need:
- OS: Windows 11
- Processor: Intel Core i5-6600 or AMD Ryzen 5 2600
- Memory: 12 GB RAM
- Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070, 8 GB or AMD Radeon RX Vega 56, 8 GB
- DirectX: Version 11
There’s certainly an “Endless Possibility” to get these specs for your PC. The NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 is much more expensive than the Radeon HD 7790, at the time of writing, but it’s still relatively affordable. It will also guarantee you can play future Sonic the Hedgehog games on your PC. It would also make the Final Horizon DLC for Sonic Frontiers look amazing on your monitor.
