Sony hit with second PSN class action suit

Sony is already facing a class action suit in the United States, but now Canadian lawyers have caught the whiff of blood in their nostrils and are circling the embattled company. If Sony collects a full set of suits, it can trade them in for a Captain Planet bicycle wheel reflector!

Mississauga resident Natasha Maksimovic has employed McPhadden Samac Tuovi LLP to begin the fight, which will champion the cause of one million Canadian PSN users.

“If you can’t trust a huge multinational corporation like Sony to protect your information, who can you trust?” asks Maksimovic. “It appears to me that Sony focuses more on protecting its games than its PlayStation users.”

The suit is seeking damages in excess of $1 billion. And that’s quite a lot of money for grown-ups!
