inFamous 2, Sony’s second worst kept secret since Killzone 3, has re-emerged thanks to the discovery of a freshly registered domain for the game. Sony has reserved “infamous2thegame.com” for unannounced purposes. and at the risk of taking something too literally, we’re pretty sure the domain is for inFamous 2, the game.
The game is no secret. An actor Tweeted that he had auditioned for the game, and many rumors have circulated since about the game appearing at E3, having online multiplayer, and releasing later this year.
Of course, publishers have a massive hard-on for their own PR department, so don’t expect Sony to confirm this until it’s got a pretty press release all written up. Really though, Resistance 3, Killzone 3, LittleBigPlanet 2 and inFamous 2 are all blatantly happening, so it might as well give up the pretense and get ’em announced.
