Last month, Square Enix said it would be showing off a new world in Kingdom Hearts III at this weekend’s D23 celebration and it did not disappoint. Amidst all the excitement of your favorite animated films getting remade into live-action movies over the next few years — and also Tim Burton’s Dumbo for some goddamn reason — Disney let loose a new trailer for KHIII that gave us our first look at the Toy Story world.
Hot damn that looks wonderful. Toy Story will join Hercules, Big Hero 6, and Tangled as worlds we’ll try to free from the grasps of the heartless when Kingdom Hearts III launches next year.
