And Octolings, of course
Nintendo has dropped the latest update for the arena shooter Splatoon 2. Although the popular Switch release is winding down this summer, it’s neat to see Nintendo continue to support the community with splatfests, content and patches.
Update 4.7.0 is almost entirely built up of weapon balance changes and bug fixes. The N-ZAP, Splattershot and Luna Shot ranges are among the tweaked tools, with changes made to ink consumption and damage as well as a tweak which “lessens spread shot variance.” A selection of Sub and Special weapons have also been nerfed/buffed accordingly.
In terms of those pesky bugs, some out-of-bounds issues have been eliminated, as has a bug that was causing players to changes form unintentionally while using the Bubble Blower and Slosher range. If you want to check out the full list of patch notes, then they are available for your perusal over at the official Nintendo update page.
Splatoon 2 is available now on Nintendo Switch.
