‘Spyro the Dragon Remastered’ for Switch briefly shows up on Nintendo’s UK store

Magic dragon listing goes puff

Although we had the long-awaited confirmation of Spyro Reignited Trilogy for PS4 and Xbox One yesterday, the Nintendo Switch was conspicuous by its absence. However, single eyebrows have been raised, akin to Spyro’s goofy face on the game’s packaging, thanks to a mysterious listing.

Nintendo’s official UK store threw up a page for “Spyro the Dragon Remastered” for Nintendo Switch, complete with blurb and a £40 price-tag. As quickly as it had appeared, it was ghost, but not before canny folk were able to grab a quick snapshot of it.

While this could just be an innocent mistake, it’s pretty coincidental that not only did that have a placeholder page, complete with blurb, good to go, but that it went up the same day as the game’s official announcement. Spyro Reignited is also being handled by Toys for Bob, the same company who developed Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy for Nintendo.

I guess we’ll find out soon enough. In the meantime, Spyro Reignited Trilogy is available for pre-order on PS4 and Xbox One.
