The global phenomenon Squid Game is coming back for a second season. If you want to know where and when to watch Squid Game Season 2, including its official release window, trailer information, and more, you are in the right place. This is everything you need to know about Squid Game Season 2.
Squid Game Season 2 release window
The Squid Game Season 2 release window is currently set for the second half of 2024. There is no exact release date for the series just yet outside of this broad window. If the series happens to follow in the footsteps of the first season, it could be released sometime in September 2024 in Korea, followed by an international release. That would be exactly three years after the first season’s debut.
When the second season drops, fans will be able to watch the series on Netflix. Presumably, it will follow in the footsteps of the original and have some of its episodes released initially, followed by a few others in the following weeks. It is uncertain at this time if the second season will have a simultaneous global release.

What to expect from Squid Game Season 2
There aren’t many details available about what the second season of the series will entail. That said, spoiler alert for the end of the first season of Squid Game if you haven’t watched it yet. From what we saw at the end of the first season, the main character Seong Gi-hun won the titular death game and ended up with a massive stack of money.
However, he made the bold decision to return for another round of Squid Game, despite learning who is behind it all, which will presumably happen in the second season. Season 2 will likely focus on the new game, participants, and possibly a new winner.
