Jedi man, Jedi man, swings just like Spider-Man can
While Geoff Keighly tried to keep as many reveals under wraps as he could, it was inevitable that some titles would sneak their way on the internet beforehand. While Star Wars Jedi: Survivor was officially announced a few months ago, at The Game Awards we got our first look at how the game looks in action and I have to say it looks leaps and bounds better than its predecessor.
Or maybe it doesn’t. Fallen Order is still on my backlog. Anyway, Jedi: Survivor brings back Cal Kestis and is set five years after the events of Fallen Order. Hunted by the Empire, he’ll have to do what it takes to survive, even if it means making some alliances.
I’ve been more or less burned out on the whole Star Wars universe for a while now, but following the excellent Andor, I’m ready to get deeply back into a galaxy far, far away. And this looks fantastic and also like a lot of the 9.5/10 games that are building up in my backlog. Star Wars Jedi: Survivor will launch on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC on March 17, 2023, which, following the new Bayonetta game announcement, is my most anticipated game release day of next year.
