Blizzard has finally set a date
Kerrigan is back, baby! Come this March 12th, you’ll be able to rip apart your enemies and spread the swarm: StarCraft II: Heart of Swarm finally has a release date. This kinda-sorta expansion comes with an all new Zerg single player campaign, new mechanics like race leveling, and new units.
In typical Blizzard fashion, there are three options here. The Standard Edition ($39.99), Collector’s Edition ($79.99), and the Digital Deluxe Edition ($59.99). If you’re really excited, you can pre-purchase the game now on Battle.net.
I wasn’t completely in love with StarCraft II‘s multiplayer, and I doubt this will do much to change that fact, but the Terran campaign was off the chain. I expect nothing less here in terms of a solid single player experience.
