For the second year now, the White House Science Fair has invited National STEM Video Game Challenge participants in its effort to promote science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) among American youth.

The National STEM Video Game Challenge is an organization that tasks middle school and high school students with creating videogames, based on evidence that videogame design “can be a highly engaging way for children to learn a range of STEM skills.”

The deadline for this year’s Video Game Challenge is May 1. Entrants may be able to be a part of next year’s White House Science Fair.
