From March 28 to May 9
Strafe and all its hyper-violent, low-polygon action will have to wait for a bit. The procedurally-generated first-person viscera simulator is being delayed by just a little more than a month.
Publisher Devolver Digital sent out a press release today cheekily citing polygon shortages as the reason for the setback. Strafe requires over 150,000 polygons, but 25,000 of those arrived late to the developer’s office.
So, Strafe will now release on May 9 instead of March 28. It’s a small delay, one that certainly points to needing just a bit more time to polish everything rather than a significant problem with the project. We’ll still be waiting with bated breath and itchy trigger fingers.
