Don’t worry, I’ll make you look great
Capcom’s incoming sequel Street Fighter 6 has a lot of features that are new to the franchise, and one of them is the Real-Time Commentary mode, which will allow players to select from various real-world Street Fighter announcers and fans to offer up their words of encouragement, (or derision), as you battle it out with your favorite World Warriors.
Players will be able to choose from one of eight commentators, four of which will commentate in English and four of which will commentate in Japanese. In addition, there will be optional subtitles in 13 languages. An additional “Rally Mode” will see your chosen announcer become a little less partisan, instead choosing to enthustiastically spur on your fighter… Hopefully to victory.
The complete list of Street Fighter 6 commentators is as follows:
English:
Steve “TastySteve” Scott
Jeremy “Vicious” Lopez
James “jchensor” Chen
Thea “Zelina Vega” Trinidad (WWE Superstar)
Japanese:
Aru
Kosuke Hiraiwa
H.E. Demon Kakka (Musician & Voice Actor)
Hikaru Takahashi (Actor & Model)
Street Fighter 6 launches June 2 on PlayStation, PC, and Xbox platforms.
