Girls Goin’ Wild
Street Fighter 6 fans, eager to see recent reveals Kimberly and Juri in action, won’t have to wait too much longer before the colorful duo start throwing fists. Capcom Japan has announced that it will be broadcasting a new episode of its studio-based “Capcom TV” show, which will spotlight both of the World Warriors in action.
The episode will see Capcom TV hosts joined by Street Fighter 6 director Takayuki Nakayama and producer Shuhei Matsumoto, who will be showing off both Juri and Kimberly in the duo’s first-ever real-time gameplay demonstration. We can expect to see Juri’s fully revised Fuha system and returning, lightning-fast divekick, while new gal Kimberly will be giving us all a lesson in the ways of Bushinryu.

For Juri mains, (such as yer boy), it will be our first opportunity to see the Korean taekwondo expert in raw, unedited action, giving us a feel for her general speed, abilities, and damage potential. For those with their eyes on Kimberly, they’ll get to see how the “ninjastar” combines the skills of forerunners such as Guy and Zeku with her own distinct flavors. It will certainly be an eye-opening experience, either way.
Capcom also recently revealed that it will be bringing brand new demo builds of Street Fighter 6 to Tokyo Game Show and EGX, giving players an opportunity to get their hands on Ryu, Chun-Li, Jamie, Luke, Guile, Juri, and Kimberly for the first time. I will very likely be in attendance at EGX at some point this month, and cannot wait to get acquainted with this all-new edition of my spider sister.
Street Fighter 6 will launch in early 2023 on PlayStation, PC, and Xbox platforms. In the meantime, you can check out our Do’s and Do Not Do’s for the release, listen to Juri and Kimberly’s new themes, or take a sneaky peek at the leaked roster for Capcom’s anticipated sequel.
