Nintendo is adding a new event costume to Super Mario Maker in the form of Barbara the Bat. The only reason I know who Barbara is, is from her assist trophy in Super Smash Bros. Brawl and her trophy.
It’s almost endearing that Nintendo offers zero context for a lot of these obscure Maker characters. Like, instead of explaining it on its social channels, or even an in-game mini intro of sorts that helps illuminate her place in gaming history, it’s just “hey this is Barbara!”
