After beating the main story, this update will allow players to talk to Luigi to get access to a new competitive mode. It’s a hide-and-seek mode where you have 30 seconds to hide a balloon, then other players will have 30 seconds to find them (although it is separated into two modes as you have one mode to hide and one mode to seek). It looks pretty cute, and it’ll be free so I’m sure players will get their fill or at least have some fun with it.
Along with this update will be new outfits, and snapshot filters.
The Luigi’s Balloon World update will hit Super Mario Odyssey this February.
