Yesterday, My Voucher Codes had some negative survey results concerning the 3DS. It seems that the consumer researchers aren’t done with the bad Nintendo news, however, as they bring word that UK gamers are also letting their Wiis go unplayed for significant periods of time.
Of 1,672 gamers, 64% owned a Wii, but 48% of them hadn’t switched the thing on in over six months. A variety of reasons for the ignorance were given, ranging from a lack of time to the console having lost its novelty value.
Perhaps even more damning, 39% of polled Wii owners only turned the system on so that they could play Wii Fit, a game released back in 2008.
1,672 isn’t a lot of people, even if it seems to coincide with the average Wii hater’s opinion. What do you reckon? Do you still regularly play your Wii? Personally, I love the system and its surprisingly robust games, but I must confess it’s been a few months since I used mine.
While Nintendo delays titles and refuses to localize others, I don’t see that changing soon, either.
