So far, I’ve missed every single opportunity to try Splatoon. Folks who made an effort to participate in the time-restricted Global Test Fire demo have had encouraging things to say about the game, which has me simultaneously feeling happy and jealous. May 29 isn’t too far off, at least.
If you’re committed to buying the game at launch and you don’t, like, have a grudge against Target, heads up: the retailer is including a Wii U- and Splatoon-branded squirt gun with purchases of the title while supplies last. You could fill it with something other than water. Tang, perhaps?
