Arcade fighting game debuts in Japan this fall, maybe PS4 later on

Dragon Quest Heroes isn’t the only project Square Enix and Koei Tecmo are collaborating on, as the companies just announced Team Ninja is co-developing the latest Dissidia Final Fantasy.
The announcement was made earlier today at a special event in Tokyo, Japan.
Dissidia Final Fantasy will feature at least 50 playable characters, including the likes of Ramza (Final Fantasy Tactics) and Y’shtola (Final Fantasy XIV), so expect to see plenty of familiar faces.
The three-on-three arcade fighting game is powered by custom hardware developed using PS4 innards, indicating it will probably come to consoles sometime following its arcade release this fall.
Sony Computer Entertainment boss Atsushi Morita spoke at the event, saying the companies are discussing a console version. However, Square Enix producer Ichiro Hazama asserted the fighter will be arcade-exclusive for at least a year before any ports are released.
At least that should give the development team plenty of time to work out any bugs.
