Well… not really, obviously. You gotta admit that there’s some resemblance!
Tetris: The Musical, the latest short by Random Encounters Entertainment, anthropomorphizes the iconic blocks in a very liberal interpretation of source game. To be fair, there really is no other way to do a Tetris movie other than to make sh*t up. And at least unlike VeggieTales, it doesn’t shovel a heavy Christian agenda down our throats.
Now that I think about it further, the blocks remind me of a cross between the geometric Mainframe citizens from ReBoot and Rare’s habit of putting eyeballs on everything in its mascot platformers.
