‘Late 2016’ for North America and Europe
Do visual novels qualify as games? Are they more or less games than Gone Home? I suppose it doesn’t matter. It’s a silly thing to argue about and I have some hot news to tell you about.
NIS America is bringing Psycho-Pass: Mandatory Happiness to North America and Europe in late 2016, the localization outfit just announced at its annual press event in San Francisco.
Based on the first season of the anime series, Mandatory Happiness adds backstory and tasks players with making a number of decisions that will impact how the ending plays out.
The PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita versions will be available both digitally and physically, in case you have a sarcophagus full of anime stuff you’re planning to bring to the afterlife.
For some strange reason, the 5pb.-developed visual novel initially debuted as a timed Xbox One exclusive in Japan last May, but now the PlayStation versions are on their way.
